Stepping Stones To Your Custom Design
1. At your first
consultation, Julie will discuss design ideas with you. She will
usually be able to give you an idea of the cost of her design at
this time. Photographs are taken.
2. Approximately one week later, Julie will meet with you to present preliminary design ideas. Once the basic design is agreed upon, a half payment is made to the designer. Property is measured.
3. The designer creates an overall landscape rendering. The client can choose to do the job in stages, consider using various contractors or subcontractors, or do parts by themselves. (Julie has worked with several good contractors and can submit your plan for bid.)
4. Upon completed design, the balance payment will be paid to the designer by the client.
That's all there is to it...you design will be like no other, ready to be installed at your own pace by the method of your choice!

Understand that even after the design is completed, changes can always be made. Tree and plant types or sizes may be varied, as well as materials used, such as types of flagstone, colors, etc. These changes may be discussed by the client in conversations with the contractor, and need not be reflected on the actual design plan. Should the client or installing contractor need to consult with the designer, there is no charge. However, major structural design changes to the plan requested from the designer will be charged at the designer's discretion at a rate of $50.00 per hour.
If the client wishes the designer be present at the time of installation for plant placement, the designer will perform this for a courtesy fee of $20.00 per hour (usually 2-3 hours).
